There are 2 volunteer on-boarding processes based on volunteer roles. Some volunteer positions require more training up front. You can review the 2 processes and steps here.
After you’ve reviewed the roles, it all starts by doing 3 things:
- Fill out the application form here
- After submitting that form, you’ll receive an email and link to also fill out a Michigan Department of Human Services Central Registry form for a mandatory child abuse/neglect background check. Return the completed form via email.
- Lastly, you’ll need to scan or take a photo of your Drivers License (or other photo ID) and email it back us.
